Gateways

Funds are appropriated annually by the Federal Government and disbursed through national gateways to States, Local Government and Primary Health Care facilities.

Flow of Funds:

    Funds are allocated annually through the National Health Act.
  • Distribution Through Implementing Gateways

    Funds are managed by implementing agencies responsible for health insurance, PHC development, and emergency care.
  • State-Level Implementation

    States receive funds to support primary health care facilities.

  • Service Delivery at PHC Facilities

    Communities receive essential health services through primary health care centers nationwide.
  • Communitie

Each gateway manages funds based on approved guidelines in the BHCPF 2.0 and performance benchmarks in line with NHSRII and SWAp principles.
