States’ component of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF), is approved for disbursement quarterly by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Gateways in accordance with the Revised BHCPF Guidelines 2.0. The funds are designated for further disbursement to support the delivery of quality essential primary healthcare services across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). They are to be utilized for the implementation of approved interventions in the Local Government Areas and benefitting healthcare facilities, in strict compliance with the accountability, transparency, and reporting requirements stipulated in the Revised BHCPF Guidelines.
